Tallgrass Metropolitan District

The Tallgrass Metropolitan District was organized to finance certain roads, water, sanitary sewer and sidewalk improvements within the community. The taxes collected by the District are for repayment of the debt incurred to fund these improvements and to pay the overhead and administrative costs of the District.

General Information

Purpose of the District

The Tallgrass Metropolitan District was organized to finance certain roads, water, sanitary sewer and sidewalk improvements within the community. The taxes imposed by the District are for repayment of the debt incurred to fund these improvements and to pay the overhead and administrative costs of the District. All of the completed improvements have been dedicated to the County or other appropriate jurisdictions for operation and maintenance. Therefore, the District does not have ongoing responsibility for maintenance of the roads, water lines, or sewer lines.

Board Meetings

District Board meetings are open to the public. The next Regular meetings of the Board are scheduled for Tuesday, June 13, and October 17, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Colorado Property Management, 2620 S. Parker Road, Aurora, CO 80013.
